When You Are Angry With God.

When You Are Angry With God.

“Madam please leave me alone, I am very angry… I am very angry with God.”
I stood alarmed at the outburst…
“I am quarrelling with God, He is my Father and I am quarrelling with Him!” She continued with her back turned to me.
We made attempts to calm her down but she wouldn’t let us. She shook her head in disagreement to what we were trying to say and kept on…

“What kind of life is this, no husband, no house, no work?” She smiled bitterly “I have served God for many years, preached in buses and house to house, yet my life went from working in (I don’t remember where she said) to selling pure water. I am very angry with God!”
We tried to speak peace to her but she insisted God had wronged her while she had been good all the while.

How can we be so right and God be so wrong? Click To Tweet

Do we have any right to point fingers at God?
God is perfect, makes no mistakes, does no evil. God is a good God and there is no single wickedness in Him. He is a just God and everything He does, whether we understand it or not is righteous, just and true.

He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is! Deuteronomy 32:4 NLT

The Struggle Is Real.
Hey, I know that the struggle is real! The world is tough, things are not going as planned for many. The world is getting darker and darker and there is no promise it would get any better. In fact, it is part of God’s plan.

For in fact, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness will cover the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you [Jerusalem] And His glory and brilliance will be seen on you. Isaiah 60:2 AMP

Did you read the good news in that verse?

The world’s problems are only an avenue to make the light of His children shine brighter. Click To Tweet

The Egyptians could not see one another, nor did anyone leave his place for three days, but all the Israelites had [supernatural] light in their dwellings. Exodus 10:23 AMP

God’s plan is that as the world goes darker, His children will shine brighter. When it is dark for the world, it should be bright for us. That is God’s plan.

Murmuring, Complaints and Anger At God Does No Good.
All the times the children of Israel complained and murmured against God while they were in the wilderness, they got themselves in some kind of trouble or the other. They brought death on themselves and stopped themselves from entering the promised land.

Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me. Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. Exodus 14:29-30

Meanwhile, God was taking them from bad to best, they kept longing for the life they had in the past when God was talking them to the best life they have ever had.
So many times when we go through stuff as believers, we begin wishing for this and that, when we should trust God with our lives knowing that He has our best interest at heart.

We must know and understand that we do not love ourselves even nearly as God loves us. Click To Tweet

When we understand God’s love for us, a love He was willing to die for, a love that He died for in the most humiliating way. We would love Him, trust Him and follow Him in spite of what we face.

To point angry fingers at God means we judge Him wicked and judge ourselves righteous. The thought itself is highly ludicrous.

Complaining against God only brings death. It keeps us away from the promises of God.

Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 1 Corinthians 10:10

It may not be physical or immediate, but destruction is sure for anyone who murmurs and complains against God. EXCEPT REPENTANCE OCCURS IN SUCH A HEART.

If you have not received your desires from God, it is not God’s fault at all! If He could give up Jesus for you, He can give you any other thing.
Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Romans 8:32 NLT

You obedience, faith, love life and patience are important keys to receiving your testimony. They must all be in place or you will not get the answer you seek. It is never God’s fault.

Are you angry with God?

I read this article when I thought all was well between me and God. But on Friday I found out that at some point I am angry with God. I would persecute Him to the point that He went silent on me. I read the article today and found peace again. I am really glad for your life and these articles. I am blessed again, God bless you!
