Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Begin this year with thanksgiving…
Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! Psalm 106:1 AMP

“A sensible thanksgiving for mercies received is a mighty prayer in the Spirit of God. It prevails with Him unspeakably.” ~ John Bunyan

Because…
The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” Lamentations 3:22-24 NASB

New Year

Then you must…
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.  See, I am doing a new thing!  Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?  I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”  Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV

Because…
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.  Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

Make up your mind to…
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Proverbs 3:3-5 AMP

And…
…seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. Matthew 6:33 AMP

WITH GOD YOU CANNOT GO WRONG IN 2016!

Happy new yr on the net I was studying when I stumble on one of ur post “6 ways to stop fornication” it was lovely. I want to know what happens to people who haven’t done their marriage rites but are living together, they have children, they are believing God for a blessing to make them fulfill their marriage rites. Thanks.

I know this can be hard but no matter the circumstance, sin is sin.
I suggest they start from whatever level, get to their families and discuss the best way it can be done with minimum expenses. Instead of having a flamboyant ceremony, something quiet can be arranged. It all depends on how it is approached.
Above all, if the two people pray and depend on God, He will make a way. Plus, the earlier it is done the better.
Have a super blessed New Year!

I have read a number of ‘New Year’ posts but this one is my favorite. I will be applying. Thank you so much!
