26 Oct When You Get Fully Persuaded.
I spoke to a sister today who expressed fears concerning a health situation. I encouraged her and reminded her of the goodness of God and how He has our best interest at heart. I also reminded her that as the apple of God’s eye God will spare nothing to protect her. I encouraged her to counter every one fear with ten promises of God concerning her health.
My Own Battle.
As I spoke with her I remembered my own battle with conception: With loads of conception impossibilities from doctors’ reports, my husband and I knew God only could turn things around and we decided to ask and believe Him.
After the first few months however, I began to cry every month when my menstrual period showed up. I began to wonder if I would really have a child, I knew God could do it, I had not only heard of, but had also seen people He had given children, people with a lot worse medical history than mine: one without a womb.
But with every show of blood my faith waned.
Then one morning of July 2001 I read 1 Corinthians 2:5 and my faith rose, I became absolutely sure that God could and would give me my children. The verse said, “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”
Every doubt and fear concerning this died that morning and that same month I conceived my first son Joshua.
No Wisdom Greater.
No matter how intelligent, or intellectually sound doctors, lawyers, weather men, accountants, philosophers and any other human being is, their knowledge and wisdom is still limited and subject to God’s perfect wisdom
You see, it is easy to get harassed by the negative reports and signs we see all around us when we forget to deliberately stay focused on God’s word and promises. That is because our senses are always speaking loud and screaming for attention.
We have to deliberately take our eyes and mind off the suggestions of the enemy and the things happening around us. We must always remember that the battles of life are first won in the spirit by conquering them in our minds via God’s word.
God Can Not Be Faulted.
I have come to see that God cannot be faulted; He said it would be unto us according to our faith. He said if we ask anything in faith he will give it to us. So many times we think we believe when we do not really believe, we wander and waver in faith like it is said in the following Bible verse:
God can never be faulted. Click To Tweet
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. James 1:6-7
We must come to a place of full persuasion, a place where doubts and fears no longer find a place in our hearts, only then will we cause our miracles to take place. Abraham received Isaac when he became fully persuaded that what He (God) promised, He was able to perform.
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Romans 4:20-21
Are full persuaded about God’s promises?
Are you keeping your focus on God and His word?

That my faith will not stand in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
So many men have opinions but we must fix our sights and heart upon and on God and His Word!

Posted at 06:33h, 29 OctoberOh, my dear sister! Your words sure did hit a nerve…I am battling my own health issues, along with the accompanying fears, and as I was in earnest prayer earlier tonight, it came to me my lack of healing is NOT on God’s part. Jesus did all He could. He suffered the horrible stripes, so we could be healed. It is a lack of faith on my part that I hindering the healing, I am convinced of it. Also, I believe He is wanting me to examine my life more closely to be sure there are no areas in which I am walking back of light and in disobedience to Him. I SO appreciate this post. It was such an uplift and encouragement to me. Thank you! Sending you much love across the miles! 🙂
