06 Jun I Choose To Believe
I choose to refuse fear and doubt as I journey through this world. Too many things are happening to suggest fear and doubt, too really scary incidents. The vicissitudes of life and some peregrine entries are causing the ugly spirit of fear and doubt may be hovering over my head, but by God, I will not let them perch.
The promises of God for my life WILL come to pass because I know that IT IS NOT IN HIM to lie. He is righteous, true to His word, He is not man that falters, and fails or lacks the ability to keep his word.
God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction for what He has promised. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good? Numbers23:19 AMP
I refuse to pay undue attention to what I see, feel or hear. I refuse to let my senses dictate to me, I refuse to let the chaos and pandemic fear that seems to want to take a complete hold of the world have a grip of even one tiny strand of my hair.
I will trust God and His promises in spite of every fact laid out before me, even if I see it with my very physical eyes, I choose to look again with the eyes of my spirit because they see The Truth which causes the facts to pale and does away them. I will be like Abraham who…
…did not weaken in faith when he considered the utter impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s deadened womb. No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God, fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised.
Romans 4:19-21 AMP
If God created the entire universe and all that is in it, including me, with His Word. If God sustains everything and everyone with The Word of His power. Then I know I better, I know to believe in His word concerning me.
IN THE beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light; and there was light. Genesis 1:1-3 AMP
IN THE beginning before all time was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. John 1:1-3 AMP
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Hebrews 1:3
I will stand on His word; I will believe before Nay Sayers, I will stand firm holding strong to His word even on or in turbulent waters. I know I cannot let go of my hope, I know I must not let go of faith, because His word can only be done in my life if I keep believing.
And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. Luke1: 45
Even in hard times I will still trust because I belong to God, because I know that He is able to keep that which is committed to Him. He has promised to be with me and to protect me from the dangers the enemy hopes will swallow me up.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you. Isaiah 43:2 AMP
I will not wonder or waver at God’s word. I will not allow my heart to be influenced into disbelieve by what is going on around me. I refuse to be double minded, wondering whether or not IT can or will happen for me. I will not allows fear or doubt rob me of God’s promises.
…For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything he asks for from the Lord, for being as he is a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), he is unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything he thinks, feels, decides. James 1:6-8 AMP
I will be patient because patience is what make faith powerful and stable. Hebrews 10:35-36
I will wait, not giving up or giving in. Until my change comes. Job 14:14
I will wait on God, believing, obeying, loving, serving and rejoicing and I know, He will perfect every single thing that concerns or belongs to me.
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, endure forever–forsake not the works of Your own hands. Psalm 138:8 AMP
I choose to wait!
I choose to hope!
I choose to believe!
Do you???
