Character Capacity

Today's Word

Character Capacity

Today's WordIf the richest man on the earth told you to bring any one of your desired containers to receive from him gifts of gold, and the quantity you get depends on what you brought, what size of bag, box or other containers would you take to him?
Would you take a small purse that can hold not more than to little pieces of gold, or a big shoulder bag, a small travel bag, or an extra-large box. I bet you would go along with the biggest bag or box you have, you would borrow if you didn’t have the size you desired.
It is true that faith has everything to do with receiving blessings from God. But a man’s true capacity to receive and handle God’s blessings is his strength of character. You must develop your character and grow, by so doing, you grow your capacity to receive God’s blessing.
Are you strong enough to receive God’s blessing? Can God trust you enough to bless you?

And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face forever. Psalm 41:12 (KJV)

You know me inside and out, you hold me together, you never fail to stand me tall in your presence so I can look you in the eye. Psalm 41:12 (The Message)
