About two years ago, my family and friends decided we should go on an airbus as part of holiday fun. The children were all excited, well the adults were excited too but our children were more excited because it was their very first time.
As we arrived the take-off point my husband spoke in tongues when we saw the mighty long queue, I tell you it was really long, the crowd was much but we joined the queue and waited. We waited, and waited… But eventually it got to our turn, and boy, did we have fun! The wait was very worth it; we had a very exciting and satisfying day and we felt rewarded for the wait. I don’t know what you have been waiting on God for, I don’t know how long you have waited, may be for a very long time.
But waiting is necessary in order to receive anything from God, you must wait on Him for He is faithful to His promise, wait for the promise, wait for the victory, wait for your triumph because it is coming, wait on Him because you can rely on His faithfulness. God is not sleeping or slumbering over His word on your life, rest in the knowing that He is working it out for you.
