Remain Dead

Today's Word

Remain Dead

Today's WordWhen a person gets born again, a new life enters him and the old life passes… or so it ought to be if he lets it. Many however go back to the old life; its thought pattern and living but if you allow the old you to die, if you remain dead to this world and its system, then you can live in Christ.
You cannot be alive to the world and alive to Christ at the same time.
One life must go; one must give way to the other.
So leave your old life where it went when you gave it to Christ: dead and buried. Don’t pick it up again by going with the world.
Remain in Christ; therein is safety from doom

You have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:3 (GW)
