Today's WordWe are all leaders in one form or the other. You could be leading your family, your children, your siblings or your class. You could also be leading your friends, band, a team in your Church, a Church, a state or a nation. Every one of us is either leading someone or a group of people.
The way to get the people under our influence to follow well is to serve them. When you serve them to help them achieve purpose, when you go out of my your way to serve and care for them. When you humble yourself to lead them by example not by bossiness, when you treat them with respect and honour, it then becomes easy for them to serve you selflessly and tirelessly because you have shown them how.

And they said to him, If you will be a servant to this people today and serve them and answer them with good words, they will be your servants forever. 1 Kings 12:7 AMP

    As the saying goes “If you are too big to serve, you are too small to lead”. Jesus himself served on earth even though he owns the earth!

    He who wants to be exalted must begin in the position of humility. May we receive the grace to serve one another as the occasion arises.
