Just As He Said

Today's Word

Just As He Said

Today's WordThe first time our first son ever got into a swimming pool, he went in because my husband, his dad had promised he was going to hold him in the water. So in they went while I sat by the pool and watched, curious and excited. Some moments after our two plus son hollered “daddy take me out, take me out…”
And his daddy said: “son I am holding you, I said I will hold you don’t you trust me?
The little man fearful and suspicious that his daddy was about to let him go in the water screamed, “No! I don’t trust you!!!”
My husband couldn’t stop talking about it, it hurt his heart and he kept saying, “Josh…you said you don’t trust me…”
I don’t remember if my husband was actually going to leave him even just a little bit…

But God cannot be doubted even just a little bit. He is perfectly true to His word and if He promises to hold you in water then you can rest assured he will. Anything He says He will do for you, He will do it just like he has promised. Never doubt God because he is faithful and just, He cannot lie, he does not need to because He is not trying to impress you or gain your favour.
There are countless examples of God’s truthfulness and trustworthiness but let me remind you how He dealt with Sarah:

The Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for her as He had promised. Genesis 21:1(AMP)

Yes! He will hold me! Firmly and securely!
I trust Him! He won’t let me go!
