Today's WordEvery one of us have been discouraged at one time or the other and we all need someone to lift up our spirits. Just a word, giving a hand or even a smile might be all we need. Shecaniah encouraged Ezra, and Ezra arose.
Encouragement is necessary for our daily lives and we really need people around us who will lift us up when we are down. Someone might be needing you today, you might come across someone whose uplifting might depend on you, you might be the only person who will cross their path today…
Now why don’t you be that encourager? Why don’t you give that smile? Speak those words, give that support and lift up someone’s spirit today. Be that encouragement that some needs.

Arise; for this matter belongeth unto thee: we also will be with thee: be of good courage, and do it. Then arose Ezra…Ezra 10:4, 5

    I believe that if one has anything positive to say to someone, one should just say it! You do not even need to understand why. Last week, someone left a comment on a blog post I shared and I thanked him for it. I later received another comment from him in which he encouraged me by writing ‘chin up’! He may not have understood why he wrote that because it was completely irrelevant to the article but you know what, I needed that encouragement as I was struggling with an issue as I wrote the blog. You may be the one God is sending to lift someone up – please do it! Stay blessed!

    Encouragement is very important. I just watched a kid-president give a pep talk on YouTube and it was really encouraging. I would blog about it soon.
