Do Not Be Suprised

Today's Word

Do Not Be Suprised

Today's Word[And] not be like Cain who [took his nature and got his motivation] from the evil one and slew his brother. And why did he slay him? Because his deeds (activities, works) were wicked and malicious and his brother’s were righteous (virtuous). Do not be surprised and wonder, brethren, that the world detests and pursues you with hatred.
1 John 3:12, 13 (AMP)

Cain was angry when His offering was disregarded; his offering was disregarded because of him, not because the offering was not good. His heart was not right therefore his offering was corrupted. He got angry and killed his brother Abel.
When your neighbor, your colleague, your boss or anyone troubles you unjustly. Do not wonder why, you have someone in you whom the person in him or her is fighting against. And you must realize that  what you face is not strange, it is called persecution, it is common. Even Jesus was persecuted unto death.
When the world sees that you are different and they envy you as a result of the God you have, they may not tell you, but they wish they could have what you have but instead of consulting you, they seek to destroy you.
Do not be surprised; just continue in the right because good always overcomes evil.
Jesus says you are blessed…

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Matthew 5:11
