Can’t Weary God

Today's Word

Can’t Weary God

Today's WordIn times of distress we often seem to keep calling on God on the same issue and some people wonder if God is not tired of hearing us over and over again on one thing. No, He is not. He says we should put Him in remembrance…
I am so elated to know that I cannot weary God with my prayers or out cries. He does not get tired of hearing my voice, in fact I think the more often I go to Him the more He enjoys it. He loves to know I depend solely on Him, He longs to hear me call out to Him, in worship, in prayer, in tears, in desperation: as long as I am motivated by love for Him and faith in Him.
God will not complain or frown at you for calling on Him every time. Never approach Him wondering if He is wearing a “Do not disturb sign” or if He is free at the moment to listen. If every one of us in this world at the same time in different places, with different needs and different languages call on Him He still hears. And He does not just hear, He listens and He answers.

Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice. Psalms 55:17 (NIV)
