14 Oct What Are You Seeking?
The demands of life are real and can be very intense. We wake up in a rush in the morning, and leave the house in a rush to our different work places for those who work outside their homes. Some wake up in a rush to other busyness and rush through the day all in an honest bid to earn a comfortable living and to take care of themselves or loved ones. Everything moves so fast in our present world.
It becomes almost impossible to slow down and spend time with God, to pursue the expansion of His kingdom, to invest into our eternity. The needs are real, and necessary too, but the enemy uses these genuine needs to distract us from pursuing the most important things, the things that have eternal value.
Besides, God says He knows our needs and their importance, and provides for us the way to have our needs met without too much rush or struggle.
But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. Matthew 6:33 (AMP)
