05 Oct Time
I remember the true story I heard about a girl whose mom tried so hard to make see her need for God. The young lady would have none of it at all, she wanted to enjoy her life she said, and made a mockery of all her mom’s efforts. In spite of her daughter’s attitude, this mom kept praying and believing that she would have a change of heart and live a life pleasing to God.
One day when the young lady was about to drive off for a party with her friends, her mom walked out with her, with concern in her heart and eyes said to her, “God go with you”.
“There isn’t enough room for God in the car, except He takes the trunk.”
That day, the young lady died in a ghastly car accident, the car was a total write off, but some crates of egg that were in the trunk, the only part of the car the girl said God could take, were all in tact.
No one owns time but God, He advices that we seek Him now, while there is still time, for time is in His hands not ours.
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:6

Posted at 21:12h, 05 OctoberIt is so important to realize how truly important our God is. He should never be relegated to the back seat or even worse the trunk of our lives. We do that though if we aren’t careful. So often we pull Him out when we are in dire straights not realizing that perhaps we wouldn’t even be in the position we were in if we had only let God in more. Thank you for always sharing such truth. 🙂
