16 Oct The Inheritance
Inheritance means property, titles, debts, rights and obligations passed from one person to another after the death of the first person. Until a person dies, the written will concerning the distribution of his inheritance cannot be enforced. Hebrews 9:16
We all know that Jesus came to this world, He was God made flesh so that we could relate with Him. If he had come in His true nature, in all His glory, we would have run from Him and He would not have been able to accomplish His mission.
He came, lived and died and left us an inheritance. This inheritance is contained in His Word, as written in Holy Scriptures, every promise of God for us right now and in the world to come is His inheritance passed on to us. We have full right to the inheritance by the blood of Jesus Christ. As long as any man is in Christ, he can lay claim to every inheritance listed in the Bible.
In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance… Ephesians 1:11 (AMP)
