Righteous Devotion

Today's Word

Righteous Devotion

Picture of a BibleGod was lamenting over His people, He wanted them back in His arms but their wickedness wouldn’t let Him hold them. We must look at our lives and figure out if we are you driving God away from us by our conduct.
What are you planting in your life? You will reap according to what you plant, good or bad. God advised the children of Israel to plant righteousness, to devote themselves to Him and serve Him. God is calling us to that kind of life too, a life of righteousness and devotion. This call is not without benefits, for God does not call us to seek Him in vain.
Shun this world and the gods in it. Seek God; be devoted to The One True God, do righteousness, reap mercy and blessings

…Plow new ground for yourselves, plant righteousness, and reap the blessings that your devotion to me will produce. It is time for you to turn to me, your Lord, and I will come and pour out blessings upon you. Hosea 10:12 (GNT)
