Today's WordThe flesh always want so badly to get back at some one for wrong done to it. When a painful word is spoken we want to speak right back, when someone hits us with that sharp knock or hit, we want to give it right back.
But vengeance is really not our jurisdiction, we shouldn’t touch it, it belongs to God. Romans 12:19
When we seek or take vengeance, we tell God we cannot trust Him to stand up for us or protect us. We unknowingly express distrust in Him breaking His heart and disabling Him from stepping up to those who hate us and mistreat us. And that my brethren, is no where anyone wants to be. Next time you get tempted to take vengeance, don’t touch it! It is not yours for the taking!
Do not say, I will repay evil; wait expectantly for the Lord, and He will rescue you. Proverbs 20:22 AMP
