There are many ways a man can deny Christ. There is the outright denial as a result of complete unbelief or out of fear in the case of threat to life. There is also denial by refusing to acknowledge Him; this is very subtle and hardly talked about.
When we refuse to confess Christ by our actions in our work places, schools, homes, among friends or foes, we are denying Him.
When we refuse to state our stand in matters that affect our faith, we are ashamed because we might be looked at in a certain way, we deny Christ.
When we have been in a relationship with someone for more than a day and we have not disclosed either by word or action that we know Christ, we deny Him.
So now, we need to carefully examine ourselves to know whether or not we have been denying Christ, because the consequence of denying Him is deadly.

But he who disowns and denies and rejects and REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE ME before men will be disowned and denied and rejected and refused acknowledgement in the presence of the angels of God. Luke 12:9 (AMP)
