Today's Word

My husband often tells the story of how when he was a young boy he got into trouble with this man who was bent on beating him up.

The man pursued as he ran as fast as his legs could carry him, the man will not relent in his chase and the young man will not stop.
My husband kept on until he got to his fathers gate and he screamed papa!!! His father ran out of the house and he hid behind him, when the man came to see that, he stopped in his tracks and walked away. My husband was saved from that beating.
When we are in trouble, any kind of trouble, and we run to God for help; better than any earthly father He will answer, He will step out, He will defend, He will protect. He is our Father.

In the day of my trouble I will call on You, for You will answer me. Psalm 86:7 AMP
