All Our Heart

Today's Word

All Our Heart

Picture of a BibleOur hearts is the heart of the matter when our relationship with God is concerned. When He has our hearts, He has all of us. He asked that we love Him with all our hearts in Deuteronomy 6:5 and in Proverbs 23:26 He says in very clear terms, “My son, give me your heart…”
God desires to have our hearts so that we can walk perfect before Him, He wants to know that He has the whole occupancy of our hearts and is not in competition with anyone or anything over our hearts. When He knows this, He is then at liberty to pour forth on us all that He has for us, because He knows that He can depend on our loyalty to Him. For Him your heart and my heart is truly the heart of the matter.

And he said, O Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth beneath, keeping covenant and showing mercy and loving-kindness to Your servants who walk before You with all their heart. 1 Kings 8:23 (AMP)
