A Crown For Passing

Today's Word

A Crown For Passing

teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey, the wordFor every exam/test passed there is a reward. As it is with academic or worldly competitions, so it is with life and its tests too. Whenever we pass a test, stand firm in trials, and overcome temptations a crown awaits us. The ability or strength to do this, to overcome trials and temptations, to pass tests in our lives can be generated from our love for God. A love that burns deep and over flows in us, compelling and restraining us, motivating us to always desire His pleasure.

What temptations, trials or tests are you facing? Do not yield to the devil; he wants to deny you of God’s crown. Be wise, feed and fan your love for God, allow your love for Him to overwhelm your flesh and its lusts. Work and walk towards The Victor’s Crown that awaits everyone who passes the test.

Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive [the victor’s] crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12 (AMP)
