Lights On!

Today's Word

Lights On!

teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey, the wordOnce in the early days of our marriage, we had such abundance that we could not afford soap to bathe with. We could barely feed at the time and things were really  “looking” blank and dark.
Some how I hadn’t thrown out the dirt bag in the bathroom for a while, my husband was inspired, the lights came and he made a whole “new” bar of soap from the crumbs of soap we had been throwing in the bin (now that’s a bit gross you might think), but that was a miracle for me. We rinsed rinsed off the “new” soap and I was so glad to bathe with, instead of without a soap that day. God never leaves us stranded, I consider that a miracle and rejoice to know that God does shine His light in all our dark moments, and I am grateful for all the things He does for me, whether “big” or “little”.

Light shines in the darkness for the godly.
Psalm 112:4

It is so amazing how God inspires us. I can recall countless examples of such inspirations. How God makes a way where there is no way. He is such an awesome God. And we give Him all the glory for the wisdom and inspiration. Greetings to the family. I enjoyed this post and the comments. It made me look back to my beginning too. Like Howard said we must always remember the past and be grateful for the present. Have a blessed week ma. My love to all yours ma.

And God shall supply all our needs, ask and you shall receive. God meets the needs of his people.

Beautiful testimony! Very very familiar to so most of us that have passed through some things. Very inspiring.
Message here is that we should remember how far forward God has brought us and to be GRATEFUL at all times.
Thank you. You are a blessing.
