25 Aug He Made It Easy
Bulls, goats, pigeons, turtles and more are sacrifices the Israelites had to make each time they approached God. Imagine. It was a rigorous exercise for the priests and for the high priest a death sentence hung over him and a slight impropriety was to his grave.
Imagine if we had to do this now, all the time we need to pray, having an animal for sacrifice. But for us now God has made it easy by sending His only begotten son, and it only takes believing in Him and confessing Him as Christ and Lord to gain access God’s throne. Jesus was a once-for-all sacrifice and no other sacrifice is required. We all can enter in, whenever we want, from wherever we are, halleluyah! God is a loving God and His grace by the blood of Jesus makes it easy.
He did this so we can always draw near to Him, we must maximize this opportunity and privilege.
Therefore, brethren, since we have full freedom and confidence to enter into the [Holy of] Holies [by the power and virtue] in the blood of Jesus, by this fresh (new) and living way which He initiated and dedicated and opened for us through the separating curtain (veil of the Holy of Holies), that is, through His flesh, let us all come forward and draw near with true (honest and sincere) hearts in unqualified assurance and absolute conviction … Hebrews 10: 19, 20, 22 (AMP)
