God has given us all that we need and it is all contained in His word. I remember when my husband and I were believing God for our first child, we agreed upon a sex and we agreed upon a name as we desired according to God’s word. Then we began “creating” him as we spoke about him. I told God about his skin color, eyes, hair and most other things. I spoke to him (my child) as if he was there with me, even before his conception. We told everyone about Joshua… When I was home alone, I would say things like, “You must be careful with this or that, you must not touch this or that because it might hurt you.”

Anyway, when our child was born, he looked a lot like we had spoken…You can begin speaking now, when you speak according to God’s word unstoppable power is released to bring your desires to pass. It is on record, that God created all things, through the instrumentality of the Word. By the Word, all things were made and all things were sustained and upheld by the Word.

All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. John 1:3 AMP
