Broken But Useful

Today's Word

Broken But Useful

teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey, the wordMany believers find it difficult to believe that God wants to use them. Many have gifts and talents they are unwilling to use in service God and His kingdom, they feel unqualified.

I have read through the Bible and I have discovered that God did not use many proper people, not many highly educated, not many perfect… He used Saul the murderer, Mary the harlot and many others. God used many broken people, people who were not “qualified” because of who they were, what they have done and where they have been, yet God picked them up, made something beautiful out of them and used them to affect the world.

You may be feeling incapable, small or ignoble, release yourself to God, release that talent no matter how insignificant it may seem, God wants to use you and that gift, all for His glory. Apostle Paul reminded the Church in Corinth about this, and let me say to you: You may be broken, but your are useful…

For [simply] consider your own call, brethren; not many [of you were considered to be] wise according to human estimates and standards, not many influential and powerful, not many of high and noble birth. 1 Corinthians 1:26 (AMP)

Wao!!! I agree totally. Moses, the meekest man on the face of the earth told God to His face that he(Moses) was not good enough for the assignment God wanted him to undertake. God knows all of us better than ourselves. He is the ALL KNOWING God. He is not looking for qualified people. He is looking for willing and yielded vessels.
