Be Eager To Make Sure

Today's Word

Be Eager To Make Sure

teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey, the wordHeart check, spirit check, life check… whatever you want to call it, it is necessary that we make sure we are in grace. You see; it is easy to carry on with our lives without remembering to evaluate how we are doing in our walk with God.

Are we making progress, or are we stagnant… which leads to a regress? Are we making impact in the kingdom? Are we making any difference in our world?

We must evaluate and work on our spiritual lives always to make sure we are not standing on the same spot. When we do this, we will always stay on the right path.

…brethren, be all the more solicitous and eager to make sure (to ratify, to strengthen, to make steadfast) your calling and election; for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall. 2 Peter 1:10 (AMP)

Practising what we have heard and believe in keeps us progressing. Stagnant water stinks and is of no use. May we never become useless but continue to walk in the Spirit so that we may go from glory to glory.
