teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey, the wordLife presents us so many other choices, so many replacements, or plan Bs for our faith. However, if we are sure we know whom we have believed, we will know for sure that we have no other choice, we have no better choice than Our God, the only creator of heaven and earth, our creator and now Father through our saviour Jesus Christ. So many times we hear people tell us, “Jesus cannot be the only way”, we hear people recommend other “things” to us, places where this and that can happen. Very enticing promises, sometimes very real promises too but they have no eternal value. Anyone who has truly encountered God will know that Jesus is the only way and will entertain no thought or suggestion for an alternative.

Even when the enemy through our flesh tells us or tries to make us think “there is nothing in it for you.”  “You have followed this God for this long but still this and that hasn’t happened”, it is at those times, these times that the world is plunging deeper into darkness, these times when many are deserting Him,  that God will be asking us the same question He asked His disciples many years ago…
