teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey, the wordI have read and come to see that in this world, following God appears to be a narrow path hence a lot of people find it sadly restrictive to live by God’s word. I have also read that we must esteem God’s word more than our necessary food, King David also wrote that he has hidden God’s word in his heart in order to overcome sin.
God’s word must be treasured by us, we must fight to keep the enemy from stealing the word of God from us. God’s word is our life, without it we are dead meat, we are powerless before the enemy. God says we should shield His word like we do the pupil of our eyes, with all that we have. We must know and obey God’s word because it is our very life.
Do not allow the enemy to deceive you into thinking you lose anything by obeying God’s word, do not let him make you believe you are hindered from life’s pleasures because you chose to follow Him. Yes you may lose something, but most importantly you lose hell. Now isn’t that something you’d love to lose?

Keep my commandments and live, and keep my law and teaching as the apple (the pupil) of your eye. Proverbs 7:2 AMP

    A very good word for today. I will shield God’s word like the pupil of my eye today, and think of His word as my very life.
