30 Jul Praise Does it
I know every believer knows the potential power praise possesses. We have heard and read that when we praise God He comes down in His power, just like He did when Paul and Silas prayed and then praised Him in the prison. I also have a great conception testimony that is all tied to praising God.
The issue is; do we truly remember to praise God genuinely in the midst of our storms? Do we wallow in anger, or self-pity looking for sympathy from those around? Perhaps too tired to lift up our hands and voice in praise to God, choosing rather to complain or ignore the storm living with the thought that, “some day, sometime it will be okay”.
If you would praise God from your heart in the midst of whatever storm you are going through right now you will cause Him to come down, as He inhabits the praise of His people. When God steps down in to a situation, there must of a necessity a be change in the situation. Go on and open up your mouth and voice and invite God’s omnipotence to turn things around for you.
But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Psalm 22:3 (KJV)
