Firm Faith

Today's Word

Firm Faith

teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey, the wordFor the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed… 2 Timothy 1:12

Apostle Paul was very convinced about whom he believed, he was absolutely sure of His strength, ability and willingness to do that which He has promised, that is the reason he could make such a statement. I have come to know that knowing, I mean REALLY knowing God does something to your faith, when you know God your faith is firm because you know His ability. You know that God is Almighty and there is nothing too difficult for Him, you know that He is a God of integrity and will not go back on His word.

I suggest we all get to getting to know God, seeking Him and asking Him for a revelation of Himself. You cannot know God enough, so even if you already know Him keep seeking Him for a firmer and ever increasing faith. When you know Him, no matter what you face, how deep, fierce, or  hard the situation, you will know for sure, beyond all reasonable doubt that God is able and willing to keep His promise to you, you will be unshaken in the knowing that “this too shall pass” and it will all “work together for your good”. Go for a firmer faith to help you through this week!
