12 Jul Against All Odds
Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. Daniel 6:10
Everything tells us to do things differently from what God wants us to or how He wants us to do them.Laws, policies, demands, media, family, friends… all seem to pull us towards sin and disobedience. It is no different from what Daniel faced while he served as a Prince in Babylon. He was challenged not to pray, to disconnect from the God he had served all his life and turn to a dead god. But he knew better, he would rather die in the flesh than commit spiritual suicide, he knew that spiritual death is worse than physical death.
What is tempting you to turn against The Almighty God? Be bold, be strong, choose eternal life with God over being alive only here on earth. Dare to please God against all odds and watch God stand and fight for you against all odds!
