Add Patience

Today's Word

Add Patience

teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey, the wordIt is important to have faith in God, because your believe that HE IS, is a foundation to your walk with Him. Faith is important because you cannot please God without it. But faith is not passive, faith is not just a thing to keep in the hearts like some say, it  requires action, it is something to do. This is where we go deeper to trust.

Trust comprises of believing, relying and depending. I know there is a very thin line between faith and trust, but there is a line. Trust is dependence, it is saying “no matter what, I know”, like Job said in Job 13:5 even though God was not slaying him like he thought. It is being still and knowing that He is God; it is patiently waiting on Him believing that He can and will do as He has promised. It is waiting for however long it will take, waiting for His time, His perfect time, because you have no alternative to  God, and you want it no other way but God’s way. We must add patience to faith, faith and patience must work together in our walk with God, if we must receive His promises for us, but patience is only possible where trust is present.

We do not want you to become lazy, but to be like those who believe and are patient, and so receive what God has promised. Hebrews 6:12
