Who Do You Run To?

Today's Word

Who Do You Run To?

teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey, the wordYears ago doctors gave a man negative reports about his health, reports that said he had few more months to live. Terrified and hopeless, he ran to God as he raced to his local church and fell on the altar wailing before his God, he cried out for his life and that was how his deliverance began.

Hezekiah became king after so many other kings had led the people to sin against God and had fallen time and again as a result. He was different: he did his best as he turned the people back to God. Then the king of Assyria began to threaten, he eventually sent a letter reminding king Hezekiah of how other nations had been destroyed by him. He said in the same way, in spite of their God, Judah would be destroyed. Look what Hezekiah did:

Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it. And he went up into the house of the Lord and spread it before the Lord. 2 Kings 19:14 (AMP)

God heard him and gave him victory over the Assyrians. When faced with challenges, hopeless situations and maybe threats of death, who do you run to?
