23 Jun What Do You Think?
It is a well-known fact that our thought lives affects our lives. Whatever we dwell on in our minds become what we say and do. So many times we allow our thoughts wander very far from things acceptable by God to things that are despicable and soon we begin to act in a manner unworthy of a believer.
Our lives cannot become like anything we do not think on, so our present lives reflect our thought lives therefore we must get a grip on our thoughts, the things we think about. Thankfully we are not left without guidance as our generous God has told us what to and how to think. If you do not like what you see in your life, then you must change the things you think about, or how you think about them. Thoughts are seeds that will produce, so to change your life, you must change your thoughts. If we think winsome thoughts we win, if we think honourable thoughts we act honourably, and so forth…
For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honourable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them]. Philippians 4:8 (AMP)
