Stumbling Blocks, Stepping Stones

Today's Word

Stumbling Blocks, Stepping Stones

teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey, the wordA stone that causes one to trip is looked upon with anger and pain while a stone that aids a reach will be looked upon differently.
We either draw men to Christ or cause them to be uninterested. The way we think, speak and act  towards people affect God’s kingdom and its progress. Love draws rather than critisize and judge…
As believers we should seek to be stepping stones for people to reach Christ or be reached by Him and not blocks that would cause the weak to stumble. Are we practicing love in its true form, do our lives encourage people to come to God and serve Him? We must evaluate our lives, are we stumbling blocks or stepping stones?

Then let us no more criticize and blame and pass judgment on one another, but rather decide and endeavor never to put a stumbling block or an obstacle or a hindrance in the way of a brother. Romans 14:13 AMP
