Insider Privilege

Today's Word

Insider Privilege

teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey, the wordAnyone in a foreign country might enjoy some privileges as a resident, but to gain full access to the rights enjoyed by citizens he must become a citizen.

Also members of a family have certain advantages available only to them. They only have access to the family inheritance and the opportunity to inherit it. This becomes accessible to others who through adoption whether written or unwritten are seen and admitted as part of the family.

The kingdom of God is filled with bountiful rights and opportunities as recorded in the pages of scriptures. These are only available to members of the kingdom, members of God’s family. Only the Israelites could enjoy these rights until Jesus came and God adopted us through His death. Now everyone who accepts the work of Jesus on the cross and believes in His Lordship becomes a member of God’s Kingdom and can enjoy every right and promise in God’s word.

It is a great privilege that we should not ignore or let go, the walls are destroyed, the barriers are removed, we all are spiritual Jews and are partakers of God’s inheritance. We are now privileged insiders, hallelujah!

Therefore you are no longer outsiders (exiles, migrants, and aliens, excluded from the rights of citizens), but you now share citizenship with the saints (God’s own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself); and you belong to God’s [own] household. Ephesians 2:19 (AMP)

Enjoy your citizenship rights, Happy New Month!
