The Word Thief

teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey, the word There is power in the word of God. It has destructive and constructive power, destroying evil and building up good. When we read or hear God’s word, we must do everything to protect it from being stolen.
The enemy always strives to steal God’s word from us and deny us of its benefits.
We must meditate on and speak the word continually back to ourselves in order to fully understand it and retain it in our spirits.
Remember the word of God is a weapon we have over the enemy, he knows this and will fight to hinder us from reading, hearing, and retaining the word. So we must keep alert and fight him off our backs and do all we must to retain God’s word in us, for it is our overcoming victory.

Matthew 13:19 AMP
While anyone is hearing the Word of the kingdom and does not grasp and comprehend it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart.

Thank you for this reminder, Ugochi. The Word can only work if it’s in us to release, otherwise, we’ll be like guns without bullets, if you pardon the comparison. Stay blessed!

Guns without bullets against the enemy? Who would want to be that? Thanks a lot for coming by Lahyorz!
