20 May Excused For Ignorance
A road user argued with a police man that he did not know the speed limit on a particular road and so should be pardoned and excused from being penalized, but the officer told him that the signs were there and he should have studied the road and signs before going on the road.
This is applies to every one of us as regards God’s commands. We all have the law, God’s law, made available to us in The Bible, so we cannot stand before Him in that day to tell Him the reason we fell short in a certain area is that we did not know.
It is our duty to seek out of The Bible, the commands of God in order to know what He expects of us and abide by them. We must seek to know, for ignorance is not an excuse and ignorance is a destroyer.
Seek out of the book of the Lord and read: Isaiah 34:16a (AMP)
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; Hosea 4:6a (AMP)
