Does It Bother you?

Today's Word

Does It Bother you?

teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey, the wordWhen there is a call for service, when you see something out of place in the sanctuary, does it bother you? Do you walk pass as if you didn’t see it or wait for someone whom you feel is responsible to get it done? Do you let someone who can handle it better than you know that it is out of place? Does it bother you when you see little dirt lying about in the church where you worship, dirt you could pick up and trash? Do you pick it up?

What about lost souls, people you meet every day and you know they are on their way to hell, does it bother you? Do you take out time to pray for them and perhaps speak to them about the love of Jesus? Do the things that pertain to God’s kingdom concern you? Do they really bother you? As I ask you I also ask myself…

Lord, [earnestly] remember to David’s credit all his humiliations and hardships and endurance—How he swore to the Lord and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob: Surely I will not enter my dwelling house or get into my bed— I will not permit my eyes to sleep or my eyelids to slumber, Until I have found a place for the Lord, a habitation for the Mighty One of Jacob. Psalm 132: 1-5 (AMP)

The king said to Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells within curtains. 2 Samuel 7:2 (AMP)
