Are You Looking For It?

Today's Word

Are You Looking For It?

teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey,When my husband told me my car had been bought and it was on its way to our state of residence at the time, I was very excited.

As I read the word of God, my mind flashed back to this day, if I did not believe what he said, I would not have been excited at all.

It did not arrive on the exact day he said, but my excitement kept me looking for it to arrive, every waking day before it came, I kept expecting it. I never had the thought that my husband had lied, was “joking”, or didn’t really mean it. So I kept looking for it, kept expecting.

Has God promised you anything? Do you believe Him, are you excited about the promise, do you look for it to happen, are you expectant?

Abraham, our example of faith was excited at God’s promise because he believed it. And he did not stop there; he was looking for it, expecting it. And that was why he kept praising Him until he saw the promise.

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; Romans 4:20(KJV)
