teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey,The story is told of how the father of a teenage boy would always go pick his son night after night in a drunken state. Never yelled at him, never allowed a distance between them. Night after night the teenager would call his dad to come pick him up because he couldn’t drive in his stupor and night after night this dad went after his son. One day this teenage boy could no longer stand up to his father’s love, he yielded to God’s love demonstrated by his father.

Imagine how many people we could love out of sin and darkness no matter how difficult they made it? Just like our Heavenly Father kept coming after us in our sin even when some of us told Him we wanted nothing to do with Him, perhaps not by words but our attitude to Him. Yet He kept coming after us…

His love is amazing, and if we love like Him, we will turn many to Him.

Love endures long and is patient and kind… 1 Corinthians 13:4(AMP)
