The word Christian has been watered down to merely attending Church and having bumper stickers.

But A Christian is one who follows after Christ out of LOVE for Him, a disciple who trains under Him to live like He did and do the works that He did.

Obedience to everyone of God’s word, or at least ceaseless efforts to do so by engaging His Holy Spirit and Reading His word in order to observe and to do it is the mark of a Christian.

The disciples were called Christians because they were recognized as true followers of Christ, not just because they followed Him in person when He walked the earth but because even after He left they still followed…

For the [true] love of God is this: that we do His commands [keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous). 1 John 5:3(AMP)
