30 May 3 Life Defining Questions
The life we live here has a lot of import and affects our whole being here and here after. I want to share with you what I believe can be life changing if given serious thoughts and acted upon, questions I believe we all need to answer in order to live lives that are meaning full and impact full. Here they are:
1. How did I get here?
I really do not know much about biology, history or science books, but I do not believe in The Evolution Theory or The Big Bang Theory. My belief is in something someone more tangible and sensible, as a result of my faith and it’s truth, I believe it took an intelligent and thoughtful mind to create such awesome beauty and intricate details that make up the universe. It is not possible for this world to be created by such randomness, how much more for man to evolve from apes. God the creator of the world and all that is in it created animals like He wanted them and He created man like He wanted. People argue on how He could create the earth in six days, He is The All Powerful, All Knowing and All Seeing God; He dried the red sea, brought water from a rock, caused a dead stick to bud without soil, water or sun… He is a miracle worker and nothing is beyond Him. Jeremiah 32:27
In the beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 AMP
So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27 AMP
I hope you believe like I do that you are no product of any randomness, but a creature that was thoughtfully, carefully, and purposefully crafted by an infinite and powerful creator whose knowledge knows no bounds, The Only True and Living God!
2. What am I here for?
This is another question you must answer, everything is for a purpose. All products are meant to fulfill something, to meet a need, you must find out your “why”. If you do not ask and answer this question, you might end up living a life without satisfactory meaning, an unfulfilled life.
First you must understand that your life is not your own, you did not bring yourself here and you do not own yourself.
…You are not your own 1 Corinthians 6:19 AMP
God created you and put you here primarily for Himself. You are here to satisfy God, to bring Him pleasure by yielding yourself to Him and obeying His every word.
All has been heard; the end of the matter is: Fear God revere and worship Him, knowing that He is and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man the full, original purpose of his creation, the object of God’s providence, the root of character, the foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun and the whole duty for every man. Ecclesiastes 12:13 AMP
Now we have established that your primary purpose is to fulfill God’s desire by strict obedience to His every word.
There is also a specific assignment He has given to you, for which He has given you, the talent, gift, ability or means to accomplish.
Moses’s assignment was to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt the land of bondage. Exodus 3:10
Tabitha’s /Dorcas’s assignment was to help those in need especially the widows. Acts 9:36-41
Apostle Paul’s assignment was to take the saving grace of Our Lord Jesus to the heathen nations. Acts 22:21
Prophetess Deborah’s assignment was to lead the Israelites to victory over king Jabin of Canaan’s forces. Judges 4
Some people have multiple assignments, some have fewer assignments, while some may have just one assignment to accomplish in their lifetime.
A lot of times people struggle in life because they try to do what others are doing. We are all gifted with different abilities for different purposes and we should not try to be what others are or do what others are doing, it will be a huge struggle to try to fit in to what we have not been designed for, even if we succeed at copying, there will be no eternal reward for it in the end.
You must discover what you are gifted for and pursue it. You will be held accountable for the assignment you did not carry out. Remember the parable of the talents: Matthew 25
3. What happens to me after here and now?
For me, this is a very important question we must ask and answer correctly. The one who sent us here, our creator, God Almighty will demand the account of our lives and living here.
Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment. Hebrews 9:27 NIV
The first step to having a favourable judgment with God is to give your life to Him in total surrender, believing and accepting Jesus as your Lord and saviour. John 3:18
There is a life after now; physical death is not the end of life. The life here is very short when compared to the life after, the life after has no end and every one has only one option, it is either heaven or hell. Romans 6:2-8, Revelation 21:8
The choice is all yours. Deuteronomy 30:15
People are often misguided to think that God is too loving to send any one to hell, some even say He is not a good God for sending anyone to such horror. But know ye now that God does not send anyone there, He created hell for the devil and his demons but men choose to be with the devil in hell when they choose their own ways instead of God’s.
God’s judgment will be based on whether we lived to please Him by obeying His every word or we chose to live this life like we wanted.
We will also be judged by how we used our gifts and whether or not we accomplished the specific tasks assigned us. Refer again to Matthew 25
Have you asked and answered these questions, do you know why you are here, are you positive you are following God’s road map for your life? Are you certain of where you will spend forever?
(I would be willing to talk more with you on this if you want. You can send me an email at teshuva7@gmail.com)

Posted at 22:23h, 01 JuneHi Ugochi,
Thank you for visiting. 🙂
This is a good, straightforward post, love it!!
People who are not covered in the blood of Jesus Christ and have accepted His gift of salvation will be eternally separated from God AND that is not a good thing. God is love and light and if there is no love and light then existing will be pure, utter misery.
Blessings,
<

Posted at 14:48h, 31 MayYes, I agree, we know what we are called to do if we stay in tune with God, and doing it is a pleasure. He has created us in Christ Jesus to do the good works that He has prepared for us to do.
