YOUR GOOD CANNOT REMAIN HIDDEN

Today's Word

YOUR GOOD CANNOT REMAIN HIDDEN

teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey,I hear a lot of people say that no one appreciates them for the good things they do. Maybe their, righteous living, service in God’s house, their kindness, their generousity, and so on keeps going unrecognized.

When you demand to be noticed, thanked, appreciated or rewarded by man, that might end up being all you will get.

Besides, so many times the recognition you desire may not come and the devil would want to get you discouraged and make you feel unappreciated and perhaps try to talk you out of doing the good you are doing.

But if you keep on doing the good, with pleasing God, affecting His kingdom and touching lives as your motive, then you are sure not to lose your reward from The God who knows how to reward better than anyone else, both here on earth and in eternity.

1 Timothy 5:25 (AMP)

So also, good deeds are evident and conspicuous, and even when they are not, they cannot remain hidden [indefinitely].

I know the feeling but we should remember that our good deeds are done not to please men but to please God. His rewards are more than you can handle! Jesus went through a lot for us and nobody, not one person thanked him – then! Now we offer him our gratitude but that can still not compare with what our heavenly Father will give him. Jesus’ sacrifice was to please the Father; the praises of men are temporary but the blessings of God are eternal.
