teshuva, jesus, God, love, obey,My husband and I have taught our boys on God’s love, we have demonstrated passion for God and His kingdom. We have also not ceased to pray for them. But so many times when they do or say some things, we have many times asked ourselves if all that we have taught and shown them has registered at all.

One day I just started praying for them differently, asking God to reveal himself to them like He did to Samuel, David and so many others at young ages. It occurred to me that if they “see” God or “meet” Him like Saul, now Paul did, it would make a lot of impact on them. We have not stopped teaching and showing, but that they may know Him for themselves has become my main prayers, that will make the difference.

Who is that person you have been trying to get to God: mother, father, sister, brother, friend, neighbor, colleague?… Pray that God will open their eyes to see Him, and like Paul, they will become ardent followers of God.

I had heard of You [only] by the hearing of the ear, but now my [spiritual] eye sees You.Therefore I loathe [my words] and abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes.Job 42:5,6 (AMP)

    I pray something similar – that their spiritual eyes may be open and the stronghold of deception keeping them from God may be destroyed. May the Lord save and keep all our loved ones in Jesus’ name, Amen. Stay blessed!
