26 Apr Narrow Is Safe
So many times we avoid narrow routes, because they are too small and are hardly used. Especially when there are bigger and wider routes to accommodate all the people we know or would love to know, we seek more space…comfort…popularity. We think since less people travel that road it is not safe or convenient, so we rather take the most used roads. Who wants to take a road less travelled?
But God says in His word that narrow is safe. Whether His commands are comfortable or popular is not as important as where they lead. As we journey through this temporal world, we must choose the road less travelled, it may be narrow, straight, uncomfortable, unpopular, but it takes us to eternal bliss.
Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it.
But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it. Matthew 7:13-14 (AMP)

Posted at 13:34h, 29 AprilIt’s so easy to join the masses and be one of the gals, trying to belong or fit in. I sometimes feel like I’m on this narrow path alone but one with God is a majority. Keeping my eyes on my final destination – heaven, does help me get through.
Stay blessed.
