Say No!

Today's WordChildren face a lot of peer pressures, at schools, neighbourhoods, parks, parties, and even Churches.
Adults face such pressures too, “let ‘s go there”,  “let’s do that”,  “let’s buy that”, “wear it”, “drink it”, “smoke it”, “Go on, have some fun, just for tonight!”
We must learn to resist pressures to do things we shouldn’t be doing, things that are unacceptable to God, even if everyone we know does them, even if our best friends do them. The Holy Spirit can help us.
No matter who, what or where the pressure is coming from, we must learn to say no, and keep saying no.

My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.  Proverbs 1:10

Thank you ma for this timely post. My prayer is “Lord help us to say no to sin and everything that does not glorify you In Jesus Name. Amen.” For all of us adults and youths alike. Amen.
